What is required to book my wedding date?
To secure a date, a signed contract is required with a 50% retainer due at the time of signing.
The retainer is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please be advised, dates and scheduled makeup times will only be reserved with a signed contract and retainer received. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to the wedding date..
When should I book my wedding day makeup service?
Wedding day makeup services tend to fill up fast. I recommend that you book your wedding day glam at least 6-9 months in advance to ensure that your requested date and time is available. However, if your wedding date is less than 6 months away, still submit an inquiry as your date just may be available.
Can I book my bridal package and add my bridal party at a later date?
Yes; however, please add bridal party members 3 or more months in advance from the date of your wedding.This is ensures the availability of myself and or my team to service your bridal party.
Are there any travel fees?
A flat rate of GHS 500 for ONE DAY event is charged for travel within Accra.
Tema, kasoa , Dansoman , weija, malam ,nungua etc travel fee is 600 cedis
* Client is responsible for travel, accommodation and feeding for Artist for events outside Accra.
• An extra fee ( travel insurance )to be charged on each selected package for out of Accra bookings , this fee (GHS 1000 is for one day event , if the event require the artist to stay more than 2 days the cost of travel insurance will be GHS 1500 or more .kindly note this fee IS NOT a transportation fee
Can I book my Bridal Trial before making a deposit ?
Yes! you can book a Bridal Trial with us prior to making a deposit for your booking with us, Pre-Booking Trial / Engagement / Pre-Wedding Package
For clients who wish to experience our work before confirming a bridal booking, we offer a Pre-Booking Trial / Engagement Package.
This package can be used for:
Engagement makeup
Pre-wedding photoshoots
Clients who wish to try our services before confirming a bridal booking
Package Fee: ₵5,000
This is a standalone service and does not hold or reserve a wedding date.
Refund & Credit Policy (Pre-Booking Trial)
The Pre-Booking Trial / Engagement Package is non-refundable, as the service is rendered in full.
No refunds or credits apply if a bridal booking is not confirmed.

Walk in , Home service & Bridesmaids Booking
Kindly note that , our walk in, home services, Baby christenings and bridesmaids makeup are done by our team. These services are mostly nude makeup with simple mink lashes .
PHOTOSHOOTS : Birthday shoots ,studio shoots ,pre weddings and all other shoots are done by our team , this makeup is more enhanced and can be done tailored to the clients needs.

Pre wedding

Pre wedding makeup is being done by our Team . It's a natural glam with simple lashes .
BRIDAL PREVIEW : Pre-bridal appointment where the bride works with the makeup artist (and sometimes the hairstylist) to create and finalize her desired look for the wedding day. It’s an opportunity to plan the perfect makeup and hair style that complements the bride’s dress, wedding theme, and personal preferences. This service is done strictly by our Artist who will be working on the Bride
Bridal Preview Policy
Bridal previews are offered exclusively to brides who have already confirmed their wedding booking with us by paying a booking deposit.
Bridal previews are intended to fine-tune and perfect your chosen bridal look — they are not offered as a test service to decide whether or not to book.
- Bridal Preview Rates (after confirmed booking):
- ₵3,000 — Studio service
- Before booking - GHS 6000
Pre Wedding/ Engagement Photoshoots:
This refers to the professional makeup services provided to a client (usually a bride-to-be) for a photoshoot session that takes place before their engagement or wedding day. This session is often used to capture intimate, stylish, or themed photos of the couple, and makeup plays a key role in ensuring the client looks polished and camera-ready.
2. Customized Look:
• The style can range from natural and soft to bold and glamorous, depending on the theme of the shoot and the client’s preferences.
• Makeup often complements the outfits, setting, and overall vibe of the photoshoot.Kindly note; This service is done by any member from our Team.
Cancellation ,Refunds & Payment Terms
Payment Terms
• Booking Fee: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total service fee is required to secure the Client’s booking. This deposit will be applied toward the total balance.
• Remaining Balance: The remaining balance is due no later than 2 weeks. Failure to pay by this date may result in the cancellation of the booking without refund.kindly note that client will be charge 15% additional charges on the remaining balance if clients refuses to pay 24 hours after their due date.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling
• Cancellation Policy:
• If the Client cancels their booking at any time during the agreed month, 100% of the total service fee will be retained by the Makeup Artist.
• The booking fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
4.Rescheduling Policy:
• If the Client requests to change their date after booking, the Makeup Artist will accommodate the new date based on availability.
• Should the Makeup Artist be available on the new date, an additional rescheduling fee of 30% of the total booking amount will apply due to the potential loss of other bookings.
5. Scheduling and Timeliness
• The Client acknowledges that the Makeup by Ashley provides services to multiple clients and must adhere to a strict schedule to accommodate all bookings.
• The Client agrees to:
• Begin services at the agreed-upon start time.
• Ensure all individuals receiving makeup services are present and ready at their scheduled times.
Early Start Times : Standard bridal call time is from 6:30Am - 7:30 Am) which depends on your location
Requests for start times earlier than 6:30 AM may attract an additional fee,
depending on the requested time and logistics involved.
Any applicable fee will be communicated and agreed upon in advance.
Artist Assignment: Makeup by Ashley may assign additional artists or
assistants as needed to ensure the best possible service experience. All team
members reflect the standards and quality of work associated with the brand.
Artist assignments will be made based on event size, logistics, and timing.
Delays:
• Any delay caused by the Client or their party that disrupts the schedule may result in incomplete services. The Makeup Artist is not obligated to extend the service time or delay their departure due to such delays.
5. Travel and Additional Costs
• Travel fees of GHC 500 apply for locations within Accra central KASOA ,ABURI ,TEMA , DANSOMAN , DODOWA , AMASAMAN / NSAWAM etc is GHC 600
• Parking fees, tolls, or accommodations (if required) will be covered by the Client.
> Outside Accra bookings are strictly by flight except locations that are not accessible by flights . Travel fee will be calculated and charge accordingly
> Travel Insurance Fee
For bookings that require the Makeup Artist to travel outside the city, a Travel Insurance Fee will be applied. This fee covers the additional costs and contingencies involved with traveling, including: This fee 1500 is for one day event only. If the event is more than 2 more days the charge is GHC 2500 or more ( 3+ days ).
An extra few of GHC 500 will be charged for transportation within city unless client provides an option of pick up and drop off with city.
• Emergency Preparedness: Ensures the Makeup Artist has resources available in case of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., travel delays, cancellations, or emergencies).
• Liability Coverage: Provides protection for the Makeup Artist’s equipment, supplies, and professional needs while traveling.
• Travel-related Expenses: The fee may also be used to cover reasonable costs such as meals, transportation, or other logistical needs during the trip.
This fee is non-refundable. THIS IS NOT TRANSPORTATION FEES
- Non- Service Day ( holding day fee) : Where the Artist is required to remain in a location outside Accra on days where no service is rendered (eg. a gap day between events ) , a Holding Day Fee will apply. This fee covers the Artist time, schedule commitment, and availability to the client during the entire booking period.
- The Holding day fee is charged at 50% of the selected package per idle day will apply.
- This ensures the Artist remains available exclusively to the client until the completion of the booking
6. Respect and Safety
• The Makeup Artist has the right to perform services in a respectful and safe environment. This includes:
• No verbal or physical abuse, threats, insults, or harassment directed at the Makeup Artist or their team by the Client, attendees, or other parties present.
• A workspace free from unsafe or hostile conditions.
• Right to Discontinue Services:
• If the Makeup Artist feels unsafe or is subjected to disrespectful behavior (e.g., insults, harassment, or unreasonable demands), they reserve the right to terminate services immediately without refund.
7. Liability
• The Makeup Artist is not responsible for:
• Adverse reactions to products used (Clients are encouraged to disclose allergies or sensitivities before the session).
• Delays caused by the Client or their party, traffic, weather, or venue access restrictions.
8. Photography and Marketing
• The Client grants permission for the Makeup Artist to use photos taken during the session for marketing purposes (e.g., social media, portfolio), unless the Client requests otherwise in writing.
Private Wedding & Content Restriction Fee
The Client acknowledges that images and videos created during the
provision of services form an essential part of Makeup by Ashley’s portfolio,
marketing, and brand visibility. Clients who request a Private Wedding Booking, where the Artist is
restricted from posting, sharing, or using any images or videos from the
event for social media, website, or any promotional purposes, agree to pay
a Private Wedding Fee equivalent to 50% of the selected package
value.This fee must be disclosed, agreed upon, and paid prior to booking
confirmation and is non-refundable.
Once a booking is confirmed, the privacy status of the event cannot be
changed.
9. Force Majeure
The Makeup Artist is not liable for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, or government restrictions.
10. Agreement to Terms
By making Payments OR signing this agreement, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions outlined above, including but not limited to payment terms, cancellation policies, and the Makeup Artist’s rights regarding safety, respect, and scheduling.
